Warranty, answered
How long is the warranty?
Every Sōk has a 10-year structural warranty on the frame, walls, roof, floor and benches. The heater and controls, our installation and extras each have their own cover, shown above.
Does self-installing void the warranty?
No. Self-installed saunas get the same cover, as long as they are built to our guide on a compliant base and the heater is connected by a licensed electrician.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell my house?
Yes. The structural warranty stays with the sauna for the rest of its 10 years. Just let us know the new owner's details.
Is greying timber a defect?
No. Thermally modified timber naturally weathers to a silver grey outdoors. It is a surface change only and does not affect strength or protection.
Who pays for repairs under warranty?
We do. Approved claims are repaired or replaced at no cost to you, including parts and labour.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The Sōk warranty is in addition to these rights.
